He started building his career in Music from 2nd year of his engineering degree. As slowly his interest in Engineering faded away, he started to move from C & Java programming (being a Computer Engineering Student) to setting up a recording studio of his own at Home.

Although he puts up Cover songs on Youtube and one of his most viewed video is “Tum Hi Ho” from Ashiqui 2. At his heart, Darshit Nayak is a Singer Composer of mostly original songs.

He never wanted to sing Covers, but he believes one must do anything that helps you reach out to your audience.

In India, people don’t consider listening to original and new artist if they are not from mainstream Bollywood playback singers. Therefore, ‘Internet’ is really something that’s changing this old scenario in last few years.

YouTube helped him to reach 10 times more audience in 3 months than the normal and old ways of promoting your music.

Financial success in life is equally important and thus sticking to the thought of not putting up cover songs and doing only originals isn’t really a good strategy.

Lifes battles dont always go to the stronger or faster man. But sooner or later, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.
